About Us

We are a family run business offering rafting, hiking and fishing trips in the heart of Alaska's Kenai peninsula. Owned and operated by Chad Davis and Tom Murray, and with the help, support and patience of their family and friends, Alaska Mountain & Stream is dedicated to providing quality experiences and personal service. We love being in the outdoors, enjoying what Alaska has to offer and we love sharing this with our guests! To make a long story short, Tom and Chad met in a slot canyon in the desert of southern Utah and on that day Alaska Mountain & Stream was born. Their combined knowledge, experience, and passion for what they do make Alaska Mountain and Stream a great choice for an incredible Alaskan adventure.

Tom is originally from Pennsylvania but found his true home in Alaska 20 years ago. He has been guiding the Kenai River and surrounding waters for 15 years and has been a featured guide on ESPN Outdoors 4 times.

Chad grew up playing in the mountains and canyons of western Colorado. He has been rafting, kayaking, fishing, and guiding the rivers of Colorado, Utah, Mexico and most recently Alaska for 10 years.
