Fishing

Upper Kenai River. 8-10 hours of action packed fishing for Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, Sockeye and Silver Salmon. Fly fishing and spin fishing are your choice for this world class blue ribbon river. Drift boat fishing and wade fishing are the way we target these wild game fish. The Kenai Canyons also make for a remote setting away from all the crowds, providing the ultimate Alaskan fishing trip.
Prices: $135 per person for a half day, $220 per person for a full day. Additional $25 per person for the Kenai Canyons.

Middle Kenai River. This section of the river hosts trophy Rainbows and Dolly Varden, not to mention the most fabulous Silver fishing in August and September. This section of river is below Skilak Lake and provides some of the best fishing action found on the Kenai River at certain times. We target this section from a drift boat with limited wade fishing.
Price: $235 per person, full day trips only.

Lower Kenai River. The Kenai King Salmon are the biggest in the world. The World Record caught in 1985 still stands at 97¼ pounds. Will you be the next record holder? Come take a shot at the record or reel in the Kenai King with an average weight of 40 pounds. Fish are caught up to 70 pounds daily. All Gear is provided; your choice of power or drift boat.
Season: June - July

Walk/Wade. There are other rivers in the Cooper Landing area that also offer excellent angling opportunities. Salmon move up these smaller streams to spawn with Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden following. Walking short distances is required but well worth the effort to cast to fish in a beautiful mountain setting.
